My Story

My love of copywriting started when I would create catalogs with fake products as a kid, and only grew from there.  

I studied advertising design at the Fashion Institute of Technology in NYC, where my copywriting teacher said “Kid, you’ve got a knack for this.” I also learned to design, which has enabled real big-picture thinking in my writing, allowing me to envision the creative as a whole package.  

I started out as a copywriter in small agency settings in 2000, culminating in a stint as in-house copywriter for the famously irreverent Bliss Spa. There, I built a strong foundation in beauty copywriting before switching exclusively to freelance in 2012. (Yeah, I was working from home since before it was cool.)

Today, I write for a variety of clients both big and small, and reside in northern New Jersey with my husband, two kids, and a very reclusive hamster.
